Hey All,

I wanted to personally welcome you to this new forum. We hope that this will help engage you in OOD content more, as well as provide an outlet for constructive feedback and suggestions. We want to know what you want to read about, the type of contests you want to enter (by the way, if you haven't already, be sure to enter the Fly-Me-In contest -- a trip for 2 to a fly-in fishing camp in Northern Ontario, www.oodmag.com/flymein), and even things you didn't like so much.

From the technical standpoint of the upgrade that was completed quite sometime ago now, the complaints have dropped off, overall it was pretty seamless, a few hiccups here and there that were quickly squared away once brought to the Admins attention, other than that just the usual complaints over any type of "change"

The front end to www.oodmag.com is nicely done, before we use to be able to login to the community right from www.oodmag.com but now it forces you to select community, thereby increasing your chance of seeing an article on the front page that might be of interest to you rather than logging right in.

I haven't really browsed to much as of late, as most of it is ice fishing related, but I understand the need to keep the articles in tune with the seasons. Anxious for the spring / fall articles to kick in hunting related.

I like the twitter feed, not for the tweets themselves, but to build the contact list once I follow the contributers I see the feed on my phone anyways.

Overall a nice facelift.

Yes we do try to keep things seasonal with the features, but we do have an archives of hunting articles as well and have been doing more on guns and gear (lots of stuff from the SHOT Show, for example). Also, we've been publishing more outdoor news pieces.
