Nope, just your vest and cap. To be a little extra cautious, though, hang a few streamers of marker tape around to show someone may be there.
Not required but highly recommended. No matter what the individual has to be wearing the 400.
But a back pack covering some of your orange is illegal?... You still have 400" on under it.. But you can hide all orange in the blind... These rules are getting goofy..
sorry .... Maybe it's not illegal to cover orange with back pack... Not sure.
You are right, just goofy.
The logic is probably that when you are in a blind you are less likely to get shot at because other hunters arent going to see your movement like they might if you were walking with a back pack covering your orange. Thats the only explanation I can come up with anyway.....
Aren't you allowed to remove orange in a tree stand? I think the orange rule is more to make you visible while walking.. So "noise shooters" may see u.
Only when bear hunting, not any other time.
When bear hunting you must wear hunter orange when on the ground.
Hunting in a blind is no different than hunting behind a couple trees, there are times when hunting behind trees is also a bad idea, it all depends on the situation.
Use caution.
Also, we determined that the backpack is not illegal, as long as some of your minimum 400sq in of visible orange is visible from the back, even if it just your hat.
