Recently just purchased a 70 lb thrust i-pilot bow mount 24 volt system and am looking for some input from fellow boaters what make and model on board battery chargers that they are using and the pros and cons of them. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank's Ken
Get a 3 bank system. This will cover the two trolling motor batteries and the crank. I have a minn kota and haven't had any issues.
I have the I-Pilot as well. I have a minnkota 2 bank charger that plugs in when boats in driveway. In the winter I pull the batteries and charger and set them up in the garage to maintain over the winter. If I didn't have the boat in the driveway I'd go with an alternator charging system.

You need to get the proper charger based on the type of batteries that you are using. Check the make and type of the batteries you are using and then go to their website to determine the proper charging profile. Select the charger that has the correct profile. Not all batteries are the same, neither are battery chargers. No such thing as one size fits all! :)
