First Turkey!

Hey all, got my first Tom today! After many days and hours of being unsuccessful my new property paid off! Today was the first time i have ever hunted there and didnt bother waking up too early because I wanted to scout out the property. I had a coffee and the land owner showed me the boundaries. I dropped her off and off I go. I was just walking the edge of a feild and I heard a loud gobble! I gave him a gobble and a few yelps then I spot the group of 12 turkeys about 75 yards in the next field over. i thought i was busted because they wer staring right at me, but as they started making their way towards the bush I briskly walked along the fenceline to get a shot off. It was a long shot, but Tom down! paced out 48 yards i blasted him good. Ill upload pictures asap. 23 pound bird with 1 inch spurs and 9 inch beard!
