I know a couple guys ate the loin outa a timber wolf and said it was good enuff. But they carry disease and parisites in the flesh and would b a last resort for me.

Everything can carry disease and parasites in the flesh, normally those are all killed with cooking.
You take a risk every time you eat meat that is not over 165C, but then again if taken care of properly and inspected you should be fine.
