Where can I get maps for the Marlborough Forest west of Ottawa.
I know of the place and know about where it is but I am not exactly sure of the boundaries.

I've asked the City of Ottawa for a complete listing of all the parcels and did not get a response. Maybe my message was sent to the wrong person, but I've also searched the City of Ottawa website extensively without any luck. It seems to be a relatively closely guarded secret. Just so you are aware, while it may appear to be a continuous tract of public forest based on satellite images, there are actually a large number of privately owned parcels that are mixed in with the public parcels. On the ground, it can be very difficult to determine which are private. Some areas are marked as private when they actually are not private, and others are not marked as private when they seem to be based on the available information. And by "available information", I mean the map available on the "Eastern Ontario Model Forest" site. They have a map which you can buy and which indicates public land in Eastern Ontario, including rough boundaries of the Marlborough Forest.
Try this city of Ottawa interactive map. Just add layers as required to identify boundaries, roads etc.

The best I could find real quick is an older map (1997) at the end of the document that you can cross reference with the zoning link above. I am sure some land may have been added since then.

^ I've been using this lately, but I couldn't find a layer which indicates which parcels are part of the Marlborough forest. There is a layer that indicates the lots and concessions, but you still need to know which lots/concessions are public land and which are private. When you combine the EOMF map with the City of Ottawa maping software (with the lot and concession layer) you can get a pretty good idea of where you can go freely. Then you get on the ground and find "private property" signs in places that they shouldn't be. On top of that, there appears to be leases on some of the public land. This is why I've tried to get the lots and concessions straight from the horse's mouth - without success so far.
This is all I can find too, here is a trail, there is a trail, but no actual borders for anything.
I tried the crown land use atlas but since it is municipally owned it is not crown so that does not work.
It does look like all the lands are contained within the "City of Ottawa" though and not in Lanark County or rather Montague township
As I mentioned, one of the best resources is the Eastern Ontario Model Forest map. It's like $14 delivered to your door. It will get you started anyways as it will at least give you a rough idea where the public parcels are.
