I often put in my kayak at the Glen Morris bridge and go downstream to the dam in Paris. I do very well for numbers, with many 50-75 fish days on a simple spinner bait. Almost all small Smallmouths. But I have hit few lunkers there. I find between Cambridge and Glen Morris takes less fishing pressure and produces more deep pockets and large fish. Just my 2 cents though. But the ride down from Glen Morris is nice and takes about 4 hours, which is why I continue to do it. It is 4 rare hours without my dad/husband responsibilities, as my guys are not quite old enough for it yet. But soon enough :)
