I am new to bowhunt in and looking for advice. I am shooting 60 lbs and a 28 1/2 draw length. I am currently using carbon arrows with 125 grain field tips. Should I stay with the 125 's or switch to 100 ' s

The increased broad head weight will give you better Kinetic Energy at impact but will reduce your speed. Therefore you will need to re-sight.
You can use FOC calculator on-line (Gold Tip for example) to determine which broad head weight will give your the best FOC, but you will need to know the weight of everything on your arrow. (vanes, inserts, knock).
15 grains is 1 gram, the difference really is minuscule, I did a quick calculation as your set up is very close to mine, there is only 6 feet per second difference between the 2 weights and no real difference in kinetic energy. http://backcountrybowhunting.com/articles/calc/, do the FOC calc, a little higher than the recommended number is just fine, better penetration.
Thanks for the reply. Guess I will just stick with the 125 ' s. Good luck this season!!!!
As long as this doesn't effect his spine in any bad way, then he's good to go...
Enjoy and good luck...
I was pulling 50 lbs to get my for down and groupings. Now I have my bow maxed out and practicing at that weight. Just waiting till Sept 25th to go out for rabbits
