Contour camera mount for shotgun

I wanted to mount my Contour camera on my 870 for this falls deer hunt. I look at Captureyourhunt mounts. They want $26 plus $30 shipping not to mention CRA will collect HST and duty. By the time it gets here is will be nearly $70 for 2 pieces of metal welded together.

Nuts I said, I have a milling machine so why not make one. I use a piece of sheet metal screw to a block of delrin, rust blue the metal and voila. I hope the deer cooperates this fall.

Looks good, something must of happened with their shipping, I ordered 2 mounts and dog harness, payed 8 bucks shipping, and didn't get dinged at the boarder either. Glad I got it in early :)

For my Contour Cam I just purchased the bar mount kit which has a rubber strap...I wrap it on my shotgun, bow, rifle, etc...works great! I have 2 different rubber strap lengths.

That looks great! I never meet other guys with contours. Think I'd love that for duck season. Any chances you wanna make a few and sell them haha?

Mountain Equipment Co-op also carries accessories for these cameras. I bought the strap style mount and could wrap it around the barrel of my shotgun. Also works great on handle bars.
