5 Geese Plus a band
It was supposed to rain (early morning hours) today so I didn’t think I would be going this morning but when I awoke to find no rain at 6 am I decided to jump in my vehicle and give it a try. My vehicle was still packed with my gear from last night’s fruitless adventure/hunt. Hoping I could get an hour or two of hunting before the rain came I set off right away not even bothering to stop for a coffee… I get to the field and setup my 6 magnum decoys, tuck myself into the tree line and wait.... Quite a few birds flying this morning, not a ton of them but enough of them that it kept me excited and busy for the 1.5 hrs I was there…
I managed four birds pretty quick, then it started raining, so I did a self portrait of the 4 birds down, started packing up and you guessed it, another flock (5 of them) start coming in and I managed one more making a grand total of 5 birds… :)
The setup (6 Magnum Decoys) about 25 yds from the bush-line….

Congrats on the birds and the bling! The one and only band I've gotten so far was 2 years ago and it also came from Saginaw Michigan.
