I was at the dog park to day with the mutt, and all of a sudden I hear a hound giving tongue(Can you still stay that? :) ) It was a coon hound checking every tree and baying at every squirrel. No playing for that dog , he spent his whole time doing that. I talked to the owner and he said he uses her on coon. Hadn't seen such desire since my old days. Great! :)

Yes they do harken to the tongue and pick up on a check....
They all have a little bit of difference in the voice so you can tell what's going on.
I love it the mom was the one having a good day on this run.
She's the one with a steady chop....
