I understand the second map - fascinating info.

I don't get the first link/map. I see how siteings can be reported but see no colors on that map matching the legend. What am I missing?

It's a European migration map. Each color is matched to a bird below. Each bird is from a different region. Just shows the migration routes across the pond. Thought it might be interesting for our resident woodcock junkies.
