My good buddy and his lovely wife own about 300 acres of farmland that is currently over run with yotes. 2 days ago, buddy watch a timber wolf (according to him?) chase a deer, literally across his front lawn and both disappeared into the bush. They can't let their dog outside alone for fear that the yotes will grab it. The next door neighbour is afraid for their cat. And on it goes.....
I just got off the phone with buddies wife, asking about permission for an aquaintance to do some yote hunting. (She won't let anyone hunt deer cuz they're soooo cute and she'd be horrified to think of someone shooting that poor cute little deer.) So what does she say when I ask about the yote hunting? " Well we humans have obituary notices to let us know when someone dies. If someone shoots a wolf, the baby's will be left behind not knowing where their mama is and I couldn't live with that."
OH MY? True story...... just had to share it.
