Looks like the fur sale business is moving off shore; the political issues with some of the biggest buyers means they have to take the pelts to a more neutral setting to sell them. I guess that's not a big issue as long as it doesn't prevent the trappers from still selling their pelts.
No sales of coon pelts is not a good thing....and $20 for beaver isn't going to make anyone rich :)
No mention of Fisher pelts..is there a reason, are their pelts better later in the season ?

I'm just learning about trapping,not having a lot to do with it,so,are these prices considered high,average or low? I was surprised to see Black Bear at $130 and Coyote at at $37. I'm just curious.Quote:

i only do a bit of nuiscance trapping around the farm and for neighbours, always give my furs to a local trapper, dont waste my time with them, he wouldnt even take the coons this year...Quote:
