Rabies only
x2 I cross at Sarnia regularly
I've only ever been asked for papers once when crossing into the US. They care more about when you try and come back into Canada. Almost always get asked for papers on the Canadian side. You don't need registration papers, but the Rabies cert should have your name on it.
Thank you very much for your replies. Gary
kraka, are y'all attuned to this horrid stuff down (t)here?: http://www.pythiosis.com/fieldtrial.htm We just got a rude awakening to it via a year-old dog that was down in your home away from home for only a couple weeks last year.

kraka, not yet and poor prospects for doing so, according to my (pardon the alliteration) pragmatic professional practitioner cum training partner. Who, being candid, is as taken aback by this "swamp cancer" manifesting above of the Mason-Dixon Line as you or I would be - unless we knew for a fact that the dog had been training way below it. But the diagnosis was pretty immediate.
Rabies certificate sighed by vet,and technically all dog food must be in a original packaging.Plus packaging must not be opened.
Never was asked but you never know if Mr border patrol is in a good mood.
