Garter snake with a mouth full!

Found a small garter snake today that was in the process of consuming a frog today. I was surprised to see a snake out in the driveway today this early in the season. Anyways grab a few pics and watched him slither away into the woods. As for the frog I am guessing a frog could be a toad I am not up on my amphibians :silly:

Be another coupla weeks before we hear their chorus up here....

Seen the same thing last summer, a pretty large garter with a big ole toad in its mouth
