Nice! Would love to try that next season. When is the opening date there?
I'm not sure when exactly the opening date is but you can definitely start fishing end of March as soon as the ice is gone. If you come from out of town I suggest the 2nd or 3rd week of April. That's usually when the bite is the hottest and the big ones are still around.Quote:

Nice job, thats been on my bucket list now for a while. How deep are you fishing and what type of structure?
Depth is usually 20-35 feet. The fish are everywhere at times. Gradual drop offs from shore hold a lot of them around here.Quote:
