A few years ago someone posted plans for a stand like this pictured below. Just wondering if anyone has them (or some similar)?
Thanks

I have some off them that I made a few years ago and still use them ,I like them as there are to heavy for thieves to run away with ,,Dutch
With the cost of wood, buying them at Cabela's is probably cheaper. :P
I would be interested in the plans if you find some
I have made a couple of stands that look just like the ones in the picture only taller.
Cost about $25.00 with pressure treated then camo painted.
I came across one of these up on crown land. When not in use the guy hangs it on a cut off branch so that the legs are about 1 foot off the ground. Keeps the bottoms from rotting, I guess. Thought it was a good idea.
This is what I used as a template for mine last fall.

I think you both took my comment a little to seriously.
Anyways, the design looks pretty good. With pressure treated you are looking at about half the cost I'd guess. My brother bought a tree stand last year on sale for somewhere's around $100-$130. Not a bad option if you can get it to your watch easily. Of course, you could build it right at the tree as well if so inclined.
