Bass Derby - Collins Lake 2015
Attended an annual bass tournament at Collins lake with Fishn247. This was my fourth time taking part and this would be my first time defending the trophy from last year. Fishing was great with a ton of healthy 3lb + fish caught. Winner ended up being the tournament's host with a bad of 12lb 4oz for 4 fish. Strangely enough his bag included a big 4lb 4oz smallmouth. I trailed just behind him with a healthy bag of 11lb 13oz. Although nowhere close to some bags put together on the bigger lakes, these weights are very impressive considering the lake is only 3.5 square kilometers in size.
Regardless of the outcome or weights, Its always a pleasure to get out and fish with this group.
