Good morning,
I'm looking for somewhere within afew hours of Renfrew County to do some camping/ fishing for a weekend. I'd like to try something new rather then going to the same spots I've been going to for years. Bissett Creek is on my list of somewhere I would like to try. Not looking for anyones secret crown camping spot, but maybe a kick in the right direction!

Little Lake, Big Bissett are two nice lakes about 3/4 of the way down Bissett Creek road.

How is access to those? I have a 4x4 truck, or is it canoe in only?
Do you only want crown land camping? If not - have a look at www.coveredbridgepark.com. It's on both the Bonnechere River and Round Lake.
No problem to get in with 4WD sometimes you can even get in with 2WD.

Used to spend time North of Oompah, Plevna. A series of lakes along a hydro line. Quit when they started to charge a trail fee about 20 years ago but the lakes are still there.....
