Greece: Now what?

So the Greeks have decided that the people who have been lending their own money to them for years so they can live above their means are cruel. The Greeks are demanding that the creditors either excuse debt or give them an easier interest pkg. These idiots are actually squabbling with creditors over borrowing money to cover the minimum interest payments on a crushing debt!!!! They feel entitled to destabilize the EU and feel others should bankroll them? I wonder if Wynne owns vacation property on Mykonos?
Problem is this destabilizes the Euro and the rest of the Global currencies and markets and these self entitled Socialists know that and are trying to hold the world hostage. This won't end well.

What was Germany thinking joining the EU? They had the most to lose going in. It's going to have a terrible effect on the whole EU . I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the whole thing re drawn not too far down the line. It's scary man!!!

Also concerns about Portugal and Spain headed in the same direction as Greece. Must be Harper's fault....

Italy is hurting too. I was there in March to visit family and unemployment is a huge problem for young people especially. Well duh, of course it's Harper's fault. Lol.

Greece needs to buck-up and deal with this.
Canada needs to make sure this kind of debt never cripples our nation - because it very well could if we let it get out of check.

Ontario with a population of 13.6 million has a debt of 300 billion dollars. Greece has a population of 11.3 million and a debt of 360 billion. So this is already happening in Canada.

This was all about the Euro and the fact that a culture has been created of avoiding and not paying taxes.

WE already have significant debt that came from years of Liberal tax-and-spend mismanagement. Under The Conservatives with astute financial management following the 2008 crash and continuing to this day,Canada would have been infinitely worse off had we allowed a left wing regime to have free reign with rampant taxation and socialist government waste. We,too,would have been in grim (if not worse) condition than Greece. As it is,now,we're faced with a significant financial disaster right here in Ontario with the foolish decisions that are being made,so far.

It's not the culture of not paying taxes that's at issue. It's the culture of entitlement that has led the Greeks to financial armageddon by wasteful,unrealistic socialist waste. It's never about how much money one has,it's always about what and how one uses the funds available....something "progressive" liberal socialists need to have tatooed on their foreheads.

Well I think that Ontarians had better think long and hard before the next fed election. I don't like the looks of the Wynne Trudeau dream team!!

Well fellas - I got news for you - what you see happening in Greece will eventually happen on this side of the Atlantic - it is only a question of time - it's like a monster snowball rolling down a big hill - it's getting bigger and there is no way of stopping it - just be ready for the day it happens - when people realize that they can vote themselves freebies - it's over except for the shouting -

Learn from what happened in Greece - the banks restricted the withdrawal of money so there wouldn't be a run on the banks - so keep enough cash on hand to weather this type of action when it happens - and as always keep enough food and necessary things on hand so if things really get bad you won't be that bad off - oh before I forget - keep enough ammo also -
