“Take me out fishing!” shall encourage Moms and Dads to take their kids out for fishing and spend quality time together. The Barrie Fall Fishing Festival is a catch & release Perch fishing tournament on beautiful Kempenfelt Bay.

The 5th Barrie Fall Fishing Festival is an event encouraging people of all ages to enjoy the fishing, the beautiful fall weather and the spectacular fall colours of Kempenfelt Bay, fishing from a boat or from the shore.

A prize pool in excess of $40,000 is expected to attract 1,000+ anglers over the 10 days of the festival. The net proceeds from the Fishing Festival benefits Environmental Projects related to improving the health & well being of Lake Simcoe, in addition to many other local community projects of the Rotary Club of Barrie Huronia.
