Crownland/ back lake adventure

Hey guys seeking info for a 5 day fishing/camping trip with the boys. I like to get off the beaten path and into some secluded campsites and great low pressure fishing. Willing to travel 5 hours north of T.O.

I have hunted and fished all my life from Huntsville to Thunderbay I know my way around the bush so safety isn't my concern. Bears etc are not my concern. I have 4x4 truck, Atv, 14' Lund on trailer 25hp. I'd like a site on the water either on a island or a logging road.

We are respectful individuals and have always hauled out our trash, cans and bottles. Was taught by my father to always leave the site cleaner then you found it.
I'm bored of my regular go to spots and looking for a change of scenery. I'd prefer to target pickerel, pike, trout rather then bass of course variety is great. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Depending on your targeted species, I'm sure I could suggest many lakes in the Temiskaming area. There are many lakes up here that don't get a lot of fishing pressure....It"s a bit of a haul, but Stumpy Lake, behind Gowganda, is a good producer for pickeral, and having an atv you can get access to every other species of fish in the north within an hour in every direction. Elmer Lake behind Matachewan is another good lake, beautiful blue pickeral, and nice Lake Trout as well. ( an older gentleman with the only cabin on the lake, tells me there are pike of monsterous proportions in the as well) Again access to many other species if willing to take the logging roads.

North of Sudbury on Hwy # 144 up to the Watershed cut off offers many small lakes with camp sites near the road.

Yes That's what I was thinking. Looked into Onaping and few other lakes up that way lots of options up there

The old KVP road or the one beside the Au Sauble River Just west of Onaping area..
