Our Camping Trip up North (pic heavy)
So Aug 1 My Best and long time friend Tim, my son and myself headed to Goose Falls for our trip. Goose Falls is approx 100 km's North west of Sturgeon Falls. We have been going there for about 4 years now. We haven't done any real fishing up there but have been doing some exploring. Next year we will bring up the ATV's so we can explore farther in.
We camped at Goose Falls above the Falls for 2 nights. We spent most of Saturday swimming and then Sunday morning it rained until around noon. We did check out some new roads we found but each time we came to either a dead end or it was not easily passable. Next year we will have the ATV's.
After Goose Falls we headed South West over to Espanola for Moose Lake. We camp on a small beautiful island there. This time we new where the abandoned Gold Mine shaft was and we wanted to check it out. There are two shafts one on the Main Land on one on a island we found both and we also found a eeny teeny speck of Gold, yup going to retire now I think it is worth 10 cents :). We confirmed it was Gold when we got back.
We also spent some time climbing the La Cloche Mountains and did some fishing up at West Quartzite Lake.
This is the long house tent.

Espanola
We camped with this little crittle living on the island. We suspect since he was so tamed that he has been there all year and is use to people.
