Did you line up any customers to guide yet? When does your season begin?

I just have a Hunter so far for the fall and I'm killing a bear . The season started Sept.1 and runs until Oct. 31 .One Hunter is bring two hunters in the spring,so I'm starting the baits now for next year. I'll have 8 baits established by the end of the fall for a max of three hunters / week. I had a number of Americans who wanted me to guide for a few years, so I'm looking forward to next year bookings.
trust me,it's scary around my baits after dark, and most of the action is early morning. I hope the hunters trust the cams and hunt the mornings. It gives lots of time to wait and track.

What is your bait set up? Just feed in open buckets?
And I wish mine were that busy!!

Im surprised you don't make it a little bit more challenging for the bears (e.g. Barrel with large logs) .... either you have a ton of bait or a different strategy but I could never leave bait hanging out like that... Are you on to something we don't know?

the baits are set up to make it easier for the baiter,and Hunter lol. The area,I'm in has never really been baited. I know from the location that the outfitter pulled out after killing the first bear. I found a few of his old baits and he set all the same. Really difficult area to carry out the Bears.He placed the bait on the edge of the cliff and from the trees around,guess where the bear went after being shot,lol. I set up for easy tracking and reteaval. It doesn't take long for the Bears to chase out all the raccoons and Yotes.
I use to use barrels but had a stupid Hunter in the spring ( took the shot 20 minutes before last light )made a bad shot with a riffle so I changed the set up and it's easier to change the buckets and less lifting for me.
I collect food and oil all year in order to feed the Bears for 7 months every year. All the bait is the reason why I have Bears comming All day and night. BTW here's the rest of the pics.
