Dog dies in Russian River, tests positive for toxic algae

This is scary stuff, especially for so many of you that swim/hunt your dogs in areas where this could be a concern.

Very good reminder and not just the Russian River - also blue algae in the Bay of Quinte now. Can kill a dog fast.

edit : from what I read it is actually a bacteria and can be any color.
