Wow you have a lot of bears hitting your bait. How many bait sites do you have?
How many bears are you allowed in NB?
After all those attempt it still standing, must be one old tough beaver right there....
Three baits right now and 8 by the spring. We used heavy duty snare wire and wired it in three to four places. You wouldn't believe the Bears that came in to the Beavers. It took them almost two days to devour the beaver. I have some wild videos on another cam.All hunters are allowed two Bears until they sell their quota of about 5,000 tags. I'll post the good videos, lol
alot of videos.

They cleaned the beaver up around 2 AM. I have two freezers full of beavers and can't wait for a big guy to show up.
I noticed the beavers aren't skinned ? do you trap the beavers? is it different in N.B.? When i took my trapping license i pretty sure i was told that its illegal to let fur go to waist ( or at least not give the queen her share$). Am i mistaken ?
These are nuisance beavers and are trapped or shot for the Department of Highways. All the Beavers need to be gone before they can tear the dam down. Your not allowed to sell them either . Lol, As a trapper you know ,spring and summer is not a good time for prime pelts.
it took a lot of work to tye the 20 foot fir tree 10 feet in the air but well worth the effort. I'll be using the beaver as a calling card for my clients. it should make for some good hunting.
