Well I've been known to eat the meat and potatoes and leave the veggies....:)
Your right Jim, anyone who watches a bait pile know the deer are grazers and will only eat a few mouth fulls of corn or an few apples then move on and graze on other stuff.
His camera location on the edge of the standing corn field sure tells the story though, lots of traffic this time of the year.
