.....and the world of stupid gun owners has another for the wall of fame.
Two major mistakes made, and she paid the price.
This isn't whether it is a hinged gun or not. This is a hunter not being safe. This would have happened using any type of gun hinged or not. Hunter lays gun on ground without safety, dog blows hunters toes off. The end.

I carry my double broke open and on my shoulder most of the time, only close to shoot the bird and back open again. This is of course over a pointer which is no place for new fangled pumps or autoloaders that are in fact a sign of the devil.
