Just a general question, I couldn't find specific rule in regulations, I have a friend who is interested in hunting, I would think he can't sit alone, and he can't have a gun or shoot. Is he allowed to be out for a sit with me at all? Just want to cover my , I don't want to ruin it for myself, but if he can come at least see something it might give him a push to get himself legal.
Yes he can shadow you. As you seem to know the only stipulation is that their action cannot aid in the taking of the game. So sitting with you perfectly fine pushing game to you not so much. Also if you get something they can help you drag it out too. Good luck

No reason why a person with no license or gun cannot sit alone and meditate in the bush any time of the year. ....
I wouldn't want to be out in the bush meditating during a big game season.. Just trying to cover my .. That's all.

Have a couple friends who are not hunters who still enjoy being outside in the fall with us. They wear orange and carry cameras. Have run into a CO a couple of times, never any issue.
