Well update!

All clear! Tested again on three different taps... zero e-coli, zero coliform...

Turns out the screen must have bee dirty on my faucet... splash back from food can get in those screens.. never test with the screen still attached! I actually new that but I cannot get this screen off the faucet. So I test other faucets.

That's great.I know how much something like this can way on one's mind .now just remember to keep checking your water ever three months for the first year as spring run off can bring problems ..Dutch

Your previous post made me realize it has been a while since we tested our well.

Glad you figured it out, once your well is contaminated you are in a world of trouble.

Instructions on the water test bottles we get say ; to get your test water from a tap closest to the pump. and to let the water run for a few minutes before collecting it into the bottle replace the bottle cap to prevent any contamination, and get it to the test facility asap.
