I see where grandpa died on Gold Rush

Watched last night's episode of Gold Rush - Parker's grandfather died on March 18 - apparently he had prostate cancer and a couple other things that put him in poor health - he was 96 - died in his sleep in the hospital - it appears that he was quite the man during his life time - sounded like a real nice guy -

He felt like everybodies grandpa, if that makes any sense. I heard of it back in March, sad to hear but at 96 he lived a good long life.
