I sighted my ML in using Powerbelt hollow point bullets. I was happy with the accuracy and the consistency. It was my first time firing a ML and it seemed straight forward enough given the info on this forum and you tube. I can't find any data on the Powerbelts that would indicate whether they're 245 gr or 290 gr. ? Anyone know how to tell? It was a used gun and the bullets were part of the deal so I'm trying to buy more bullets. I'd like to buy the same bullet.
use some ones scale and measure the weight if you don't have your own scale, digital scales are cheap to buy if you want your own,Quote:

What distance did you site in at..at 50 yds ? There won't be much of difference in drop for 45 grs. still well within the kill zone.
Or just use those up having fun and then buy a new box (marked) of Powerbelts for the next time you're on the range and see how they shoot and site them in. Then you'll know and have spent another day making smoke ..win win :)
Ok Thanks guys. Actually it was fun to fire Mike. The cleaning is a bit of a nuisance but all part of the fun. After shooting a slug gun I'd prefer the ML. What is the conversion grains to grams? I should just google it I know.
For a powder measure; it's roughly 100 grs = 6.5 grams...but finding a powder measure is 'grams' is not very common, 'grains' is most common language.Quote:
