"New" 28 gauge O/U for the season

I had a 28g pump that I loved but with a 20g O/U and then getting a 16g SxS last year I just wasn't using the pump that much and knew that I would be using it even less in the future.

28 gauge Franchi Veloce

It looks like it has seen some use, but not misuse. Hope to get out in a week or 2 a see what I can do with it.

Sweet. The 20g may not see much day lite this year.

The 20 will see daylight but not much sunlight. The 28 will be a fair weather gun for the first season at least.

Nice shotgun, the 28ga is a sweet round. I really enjoyed mine last season on grouse, woodcock and rabbits.

Shot some paper today. No surprises, skeet and IC will likely be the most used combination. Even shot the 22 a bit.

Nice Franchi. You will enjoy it and the 28 ga round. I hunt grouse about 45 days each season and often take my 28 ga Rizzini ( Savage Milano). I find the 28 gauge deadly inside 35m.
