I saw this ruffed grouse in full strut chasing 3 hens a few minutes ago. I guess he did not get the memo that we are still in mid January. Perhaps a sign of an early spring this year? Wishful thinking! I will edge my bet on the ground hogs prediction in a few weeks...:moose:
