I was looking at a map of Algonquin park and see where there must be a thousand marked camp sites - I'm assuming that most of these are used pretty regularly during most of the year - now comes the question - people using these sites need to relieve themselves at times - you know - take a crap - now from what I read the proper thing to do is dig a hole - fill it and then cover it with dirt - some times because there is rock all over this process can't be accomplished - so what eventually happens - you take your life in your hands wandering away from the fire pit and tent areas with a high probability of stepping on a mine - is this a problem using these camp sites - not only that but I guess flies can be a problem from these mines - if you have ever used these camp sites what is your experience from camping at these sites - trying to find out as much as possible before hitting the trail - thanks
