Phlorocarbon Leader length

Hello
I am running braid on all my spinning rods now
12' ,6',7', and my 5' ultra light. ..
What length of leaders should I be using????

All I use is 2' for jigging.

I use just short of the length of the rod so the knot does not (LOL) get caught on the spool when casting.

Depends on how your fishing. For jigging, drop shot, I use about 6 ft. If throwing jerk baits or crank baits I only use a couple feet so that you don't have to cast the knot thru the guides.
