read and I haven't gotten anywhere near through it yet. But, it didn't
make me very happy when I got to a list of foods that tested high in
the damned stuff. Just scroll down to page 5 and you'll see that one
of my favourite cold cereals, Cheerios is top of the list.

Plus the GMO of the wheat/corn/rice/etc.

It is more and more difficult to eat anything without the added pesticides, herbicides, defoliates, antibiotics and growth hormones.

Bran flakes = drain cleaner is a bit on the nose I guess?

Everything you eat is GMO, it is just how long it took to modify them.

So the herbicide has this in it, ok, how much of that is actually found in the food product at the end?

You wash your counters with toxic chemicals, they kill the things that will kill you and you wipe them off, nothing gets into your system.

Farmers are not trying to kill you.

Gotta have my raisin bran...... Hell John at our ages look back at what should have killed us by now .

Exactly ! Good grief.

In my job where at least three people die daily some where across North America. Daino at 1 part per million in my food does not make the list of things to worry about.

Try again..you got anything really worth worrying about? Cargo thieft, driver killed. Car full of kids under the trailer.

Hi Glen !
We are still living because our food was not contaminated with chemicals.
My parents , had 5 acres on which they grew most of the food we ate and I do not remember my father using any type of spray or fertilizer on our gardens , other than natural manure which came from the 200 chickens they raised every year, and the 4 pigs.

With all the chemicals being used now on our food stuffs, makes me wonder if future generations will live as long as some of us have now, I,m 75, and still internally healthy.

You have to wonder also now , why are young children developing so many allergies to foods that we ate with no problems , and why is there so much obesity now , when I was in school, there were hardly any " fat kids " around, look at what is happening now , most of them are fat.

Unnecessary chemicals in our food chain are a leading cause of allergies, illness's and obesity, many studies have been done on the subject and have proven this to be the problem, think about it why have the Gov. world wide and Health Organizations been successful in having many chemicals banned or having the amounts used being less and less .

We are not talking about GMO'D Foods, It is the use of killer chemicals,that is the issue.
GMO foods have been around for some time , it is the Genetic Modification of Genes, not using chemicals .

If you want to get in on the conversation, at least get on the right page or stay out!

No it is not the farmers that are to blame, it is the " BIG Chemical Co's " that are to blame all in the name of the BIG DOLLAR !
Monsanto, now Bayer, have been convincing farmers that they cannot grow crops without the use of their chemicals , which they claim are safe. Now after many years of research we are finding out that these chemicals are not safe and are winding up in our foods from the crops that are grown to the meats we eat because the animals are being fed food which has been grown using these dangerous chemicals .

No it is not the farmers to blame , but put the blame on the chemical co's that have been brainwashing the farmers into using their chemicals .
Slowly there are many farmers, if you do any reading into the subject , that are getting away from using chemicals and are growing healthier foods, it takes more work but we will all benefit from these farmers that are saying no to the use of dangerous chemicals .
