We don't, because we live a decent country where home invasion is ultra rare.
And where arm chair warriors (like Joe Pa) that praise every killing are also rare.

I am always thankful that we don't live in such a horrible country, that everyone feels the need to carry loaded firearms, in home and off property.

You Libs are missing the point, rare or not you should still be able to protect your home and family. Why should we just watch and hope for the best?!

Defending your home during a break in should never be considered an offence.

It's disturbing to hear about home invasions but how many are random and how many are targeted with drugs/drug money etc ?

What are you going to do if you ever have a home invasion ? are you just going to sit there and hope that none of your family gets hurt? while someone that is high on drugs and armed enters your home .
This is not EUTOPIA that we live in , breakins are happening all around Canada everyday, and people are getting mugged constantly.
