my 18th in 17yrs

Was a mild opener here in wmu28 moose moving steady where I built our camp for the week three bulls and lots of cows and calf's
moving around on Friday before the opener a native come in and dropped the bigger bull ( maybe more) nothing moved for a week Saturday morning my cousin headed home so the bull hunt was over for time being hoping he comes for the week end and a Cpl days next week. well on Sat night I was in the lucky spot and harvested a nice calf Thanks to the spirit of the woods for my gift. Spent the last four days in camp with 5 of my kids having a blast. get out there and do it Cheers

Hey congrats. Loads of moose i 28 this year. ...dispite the native hunters. We had 2 native guys by our camp canada day weekend and they shot 2 yearling cows. Took back quarters and backstraps from one and just backstraps from the other. Just brutal!!!!!!!!!!! I cant beleive we cant stop this! They are killing the whole moose hunt!!!
