So I watched the first debate on TVO tonight. I think the one who would be best suited was the moderator Steve Paiquin.
No knock out punches and I'm still on the fence as who would be most likely to beat Wynne.

Well...none of them. The Ontario Libertarian Party gets my vote...but then I am biased...
Elliott looked old and tired. Ford tried to restrain his combative tendencies and was underwhelming. Mulroney seemed tentative and uncertain but was more effective. Ford and Elliott are experienced debaters while it was the first time for Mulroney. When I think about the leader's debate during election campaign and who I'd like to see on the stage against Horvath and Wynne my answer is Caroline Mulroney.
I think Ford lead that debate. The other three kept repeating themselves in that they all agreed with Ford. I don't know what's going to happen with Brown though. He's claiming (sources say) that he never officially resigned as leader.
Edit- I was just reading that Brown did officially state he was stepping down, although he didn't sign a resignation letter. I guess his statement is good enough.
He dreamed he might resign and that was good enough for CTV.
Wow the PC's can really snatch defeat away from the jaws of victory, can't they?
Brown is running for leadership now.
This could either highlight the divisions in the party and turn voters off the PCs, or it could continue to generate new-found attention for the PCs, which might not be a bad thing. The PCs are all that Ontario voters and the press are talking about now. When was the last time Wynne was in the headlines?
When is the last time she did something stupid.
