What is it - ID help

Attachment 36995I think I know what this is. Just looking for assistance. Caught in a small cold water stream.

Not sure of the proper name but we used to refer to them as Creek Chubs or Stone Rollers.

I was thinking river shiner

chub for sure

I'm with the others, pretty sure it's a Creek Chub.

You know that when you get lazy Uncle Gilroy will always make you do some homework.Here is a link to a handy booklet I found up north in the MNR office.

Even with the booklet some are pretty hard to identify,hope this helps.
