Hunting Camper

Hi Group.......I need some input. I don't hunt, but I am going to build hunting campers.
I have military vehicles provincially licensed. (Google LSVW). 4 wheel hi low diff lock.

What would any of you want in it? Beds, water, cooktop is a given.
How many people go as a group generally?

I know nothing of the camping mindset.

One person told me all you need is a place to dry your socks.

Anything, no matter how absurd....yes, I know, someones going to say tampon dispenser, but have a laugh, all in fun.

A secure place to put firearms.
A water efficient Shower and toilet, sink.
Propane heat
Capability to plug in say 1500 watt generator
Able to sleep say 4 or 6
Place to cook like any camper such as basic propane stove

If you have no camping experience or "Mindset" as you say, building campers may not be for you.

Also LSVW trucks converted into an RV, are not going to get much traction when you realize that they have to compete with Dodge,Chevy, Ford and Toyota trucks. They all will run circles around it.

The LSVW weights 5200lbs( hook on a trailer and you need commercial inspection stickers), has a max highway speed of 98Km/h( you drive one at 98 my hat is off to you). The 2.5 L diesel engine get 5 km per L( uses 20L per 100Km) if it runs perfect.

You could add a turbo maybe, regear the diffs........wait a minute. Since that what we all do to our trucks now, and parts options are far greater then they are for a LSVW it would be a hard sell.

Just pointing out the mountains you'll have to over come.

Snow walker I'm thinking he wants to build in the ninche market like the guy's importing the Sherpa's.

I sure would like one of those Sherpa's heck I tried my Parents, Siblings, Wife and kids for a Sherpa.

Lol Toyota trucks.... Only thing they are good for us being pulled out of mud by jeeps

Bring your heep...I got a three week overland Expedition you can join in 2019..

Wilderness camping, and travel. It can be a cruise one day and a winch festival the next.

Don't think I am trying to discourage him. It's just that there are possible problems he has not thought about.

Toilet ??...shovel...maybe folding blue bag chair...high end is a chemical toilet..LOL..

I guess it depends on what the client market is....I lived out of the back of many military vehicles for weeks on end in places like Wainwright Alberta...the benches you worked on during the day became beds to sleep on at night. Coleman stoves for cooking outside on the tailgate.

I think the closest thing to a "hunting trailer" on the market these days are the toy haulers where you can flip/slide down a bed space where your atv was parked. We currently accomodate 4 guys in an old 25' camper on bear hunts. Things I would like to see in a hunt focused trailer:
- led lighting inside & out
- solar panel options
- larger than avg water tank or auxiliary tank option.
- bunks. No bed. Just several bunks.
- atv/gear storage option (hoy hauler)
- lockable gun / equipment storage
- large awning(s) to keep gear dry on rainy days
- onboard inverter
- USB outlets. Even some of our flashlights charge with usb connectors.
- external BBQ
- high ground clearance
And most importantly, mosquito and black fly tight.

Yes that is a 20 liter gas can beside the tire.

Suggestions:
OFF-ROAD HITCH. No 2" ball hitch BS.
A true three axis offroad hitch.
