G70 3/8" chain link was the ultimate answer to my First World problem until this weekend when Dad missed the gong and hit a link dead center at the weakest spot with the 243.
Oh well, it's always nice to have him around ;)

What’s the bag limit. 243 enough gun for chain? But don’t use it on 1/2 chain.

I was using 1/4" chain but it couldn't take the 45-70 and other calibers, so I looked online and 3/8" seems to be the best bet so far. The 22's disintegrate when they hit the gong.Quote:
