Replace Mattress and recliner chair

Hoping to retire in the next year or so and before I do I want to replace a few things around the house.
Wondering what people's thoughts are on the best queen size mattress and box spring and best electric recliner/lift chair.
My better half used to work as a PSW in retirement home and thinks that with my arthritis and bad back these would be good to have before I get really old.
Local Mom & Pop shop wants to sell me Restonic mattress but I can't find out a lot about them other than what he can tell me.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The power recliner you will have to go to a store that has a decent selection and sit in them till you find one that you like, downside of power recliner is a power outage, although some have a battery backup to let them down, bought one last winter as I was having knee replacement surgery in early April, loved it for getting up and down from the seat for a month or so after surgery.

I’m interested in hearing if anybody’s got a good news story about a long lasting mattress.

I’ve always said never go cheap on mattresses or workboots because 75% of life thru the week is unfortunately spent in one or the other, but none of the mattresses I’ve bought have held up. And I’m 225lb, not a featherweight but not busting the scales either.

When it comes to a mattress, go with Tempurpedic and not the knock off cheap ones. I've had mine now for at least 15 years and with my cranky back it's the only thing I can sleep on for any length of time. When you look at the price, but, divide by the number of years you'll enjoy it, it's far from being expensive.
As for the electric recliner, mine is a Golden Technologies Power Lift, made in US. Mine was also custom sized for leg and body length. It will almost get me to the standing position.

I have a really bad back and knees. I'd recommend heading to a store that has selection like said above. My self I had to look for the firmest mattress there was, and also the height was important, lower the harder to get out of. Don't be cheap, you get what you pay for. When I bought mine all the places I went to said shouldn't keep a mattress for more than 10yrs. For a recliner again you want a selection to find what fits you. I'm a pretty big person but don't like monster size chairs. I bought a new one a year ago, I tried dozens before I bought the one I got and I still messed up. I failed to release that it didn't have a rocker in the recliner. For the electric, like said above I stayed away from those as what if power goes out and you need to use it. Recliner is only thing I can sit in for any length of time. I know this doesn't help with makes, but just wanted to make suggestions on reasons.

I bought a Casper mattress 2 years ago and have been quite happy with it.
