Battery charge tester

Hey everyone just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a battery tester that's simple to use and somewhat inexpensive I like to test my triple and double A's and I have a couple of deep cycle batteries that I like to keep an eye on any help would be appreciated

for AA and AAA's Princess auto has a good portable tester. Relatively cheap as well.

I believe it is called a pocket battery tester $4.29

For other larger batteries, just use a voltmeter.

A voltmeter will only tell you the voltage reading. The lead acid battery can show 12.6V on the volt meter, but since the battery is not under load the reading does not mean a thing. As soon as you put a load on the battery, the voltage will change. A bad battery will lose voltage very quick.

For deep cycle and starter batteries you need to use a load tester.

Just " google " battery tester/ battery load tester, you will get prices from $15.00 to $50.00 and the descriptions will tell you what they are capable of doing and where they can be purchased.

Princes Auto have on sale for $ 35.00 a battery load tester , regular price is $70.00 .

Perfect thanks..reminds me I left the battery at Canadian tire
