Finally got my first deer!
I’ve been bow and rifle hunting for about 10 years! I finally got my stand put up Wednesday after trying to do it all weekend, got out for my first hunt of the year Thursday and after being there for 20-30 min doe and fawn are 20 yards from me eating apples. They wonder off into the tall grass and trees and I’m watching them go in and out of the trees.then I see a rack moving down by the creek 100 yards out. He walks down towards the creek towards the doe. Comes across the creek and was ripping up the ground at a few trees. The doe and fawn walked right under my stand, he walked 20 yards in front of me for a perfect side shot! Took me 2 hours to stop shaking
