Tim Grounds

It is with a saddened heart that I just learned of the passing of Tim Grounds. Tim was a World Goose Calling Champion and also won the Champion of Champions Goose Calling Championships. He was not the inventor of the short reed goose call but refined the call to what it is today. I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon in a blind in Aylmer with Tim goose hunting. We called in approx. 800 geese that evening and he would only take banded birds. He was an icon in the waterfowling world. He will be sadly missed.
