Looks like a prairie animal due to blonde colour. That would be one old scarred-up animal! Sadly, by the time he spends 3 hrs pelting and fleshing it, another hour boarding it, then pays 11% sales commission , royalty to the fur house for BD DAM grade he'll either get a mail-out that says "re-offered" or a cheque for $1.26. If he factors in his time, depreciation on his truck, 4 wheeler, boat, motor, chainsaw, gas, insurance, and the $40 licence, it will have cost him $100 to set the trap. He should keep the pelt, self tan it, strip down butt naked and wear it as a body suit to either the bluegrass festival in Palmer Rapids, or at the chip truck in Ompah. Pretty much guaranteed he'd have the hot chicks "trying to get at him"!
