New Year and a New Knee, another one!

Two years ago this past Oct, I had my left knee replaced, painful but it turned out well.
This past Fri. p.m. I was in and had my right knee replaced, again it is painful , but the surgeon said all went well and they sent me home yesterday and by spring I should be up and running full tilt again, I hope, as I did not go moose or deer hunting this past fall, went out for ducks only twice was successful though, and my dog was happy to do the retrieving.
My dog lately is just moping around I guess she is wondering what happened.

I also shot a nice coyote out the back of the house about a month ago, range finder said 326 yards, haven't lost my touch, little hole going in and no exit, .222 did the job.

Had my knee done last Feb. ; even though I can walk much better it is still very painful - disappointed. Suppose to get a hip done, but stalling as it is the same side as my knee so................Can't shoot anymore due to a torn rotor cuff and Parkinsons. Ah, it is great getting old. :whacked:

Wishing you a Happy New Year and a speedy recovery! Must have been tough to sit out the fall big game season but the surgery should allow you more time in the field in the future.

Had my right knee done Apr./2016 and left knee done Apr./2018 both turned out well and have full mobility with zero pain, got a moose in Oct. this year and a 4 point buck in Nov. just slowing down a lot every year, I'm a 44 model year lol

Sorry to hear about the pain, as I have none in my first replacement [ left side] , I hope all goes as well with the right side replacement, then I can start [ ballet dancing :whacked: ]

Slowing down comes with the territory, but at least you can still get out. :thumbup: I am a 42 model , this Fri. adds another year.
